HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A new start is not only possible this year but a must. There have been too many false starts in recent months and now you must get serious about transforming your existence. Know what needs to be changed then give it 100 per cent and make it happen.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Although most things are going well for you at the moment the approaching full moon could bring a few emotional challenges, so promise yourself that whatever difficult situations might arise over the next few days you won’t overreact. Breathe deeply and stay calm.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Someone who annoys you today will certainly deserve to feel the rough edge of your tongue but the planets warn if you have a go at them now they will attempt to get back at you in some way in the future. Try ignoring them instead.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The past few days have been hectic and the next few days will be hectic as well but you will enjoy every moment of it. You are at your best when on the move and interacting with people, so don’t think of slowing down just yet.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Big changes are coming your way, both at home and at work, and you must be ready and willing to embrace whatever challenges are thrown at you. As one of the zodiac’s cardinal signs you work well under pressure, so give it your all.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

A more subtle approach is needed when dealing with people who rub you the wrong way. You can, of course, tell them what you think of them in plain and colorful language but that will just create even more bad feeling in the future.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Friends and colleagues will tell you one thing today but your instincts will tell you another and it is your instincts you must listen to. Always pay attention to that small voice in the back of your brain, even when it gives you questionable information.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

When explaining to others what it is you expect of them you must make sure that your words are plain and simple and cannot be misunderstood. If you leave even one minor instruction open to interpretation you can guarantee they will get it wrong.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The message of the stars today is to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life. The approaching full moon is sure to shake your world up a bit, and maybe a lot, so do yourself a favour and relax between now and the weekend.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You may need to tune out the world around you today as almost everyone you meet will want to bore you with tales of woe. You may feel sorry for them but you cannot allow them to bring you down with their negative outlooks on life.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

If there is something you need to tell a friend or relative, something you know they won’t much like, then just come out with it. If you worry too much about hurting their feelings they will go on making the same mistake over and over again.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may have to use a bit of mental muscle to get what you want today but the effort will be worth it. The fact that you know more about the current situation than those around you means you can bend them to your will quite easily.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

If you know a secret of some kind you must keep it to yourself. If you let slip even a hint of what you have discovered the value of the information will diminish before you have a chance to use it for your own gain. Zip those lips!
