Lt. Gen (R) Nigar Johar Khan, Pakistan’s first female Surgeon General, has been named the Brand Ambassador for Women Empowerment by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).
This important announcement was made during RCCI’s special event, SHE LEADS – A Tribute to Women, which celebrated the achievements and leadership of women from different walks of life.
RCCI praised Lt. Gen (R) Nigar as a true role model and a trailblazer for gender equality in Pakistan. Her appointment highlights her inspiring journey in breaking barriers in a male-dominated profession and becoming a symbol of strength, resilience, and success for women across the country.
