The UAE Cabinet has decided that AI will be a required subject in all government schools, from kindergarten to Grade 12. This change will start in the next school year. It is part of the country’s plan to prepare young people for the future by giving them the right skills from an early age.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister of the UAE, shared this news. He said that students will not only study the technical side of AI, such as how it works and how to use it, but they will also learn about the ethical, social, and everyday uses of AI in real life. This well-rounded approach will help students understand both the benefits and challenges of AI technology.

The UAE Ministry of Education has created a complete AI curriculum that will be taught in classrooms. The goal is to make sure students are ready for the fast-changing world around them. As AI becomes a bigger part of our lives, it is important for young people to know how to use it wisely and responsibly.

This new subject will give students the chance to learn skills that are becoming more and more important in the modern world. These skills could help them in their future careers and make them better problem solvers and decision-makers. The UAE’s move shows how serious the country is about staying ahead in technology and making education more future-focused.

By teaching AI from a young age, the UAE hopes to build a new generation of thinkers, innovators, and leaders who are ready to shape the future with confidence and responsibility.
