Good News for Tourists! Babusar Top Reopens After Six Months
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsapp

Babusar Top, a stunning mountain pass in northern Pakistan, is now open to all kinds of traffic after being closed for six months due to heavy snowfall. The National Highway Authority (NHA) announced that the road connecting Naran to Gilgit-Baltistan is fully open again.

The road had been blocked since winter because of thick snow and ice. Teams worked hard to clear the path, using heavy machines to remove more than six glaciers that had formed along the way. After weeks of effort, the route is now safe for travelers.

With the reopening, tourists have started coming back to enjoy the beautiful mountain views, fresh air, and snow-covered surroundings. The breathtaking scenery of Babusar Top attracts visitors from across the country, especially during the summer months when the area becomes more accessible.

To ensure the safety of travelers, local authorities have set up police checkpoints along the route. These checkpoints help manage traffic and provide assistance to anyone in need.

The reopening of Babusar Top is good news not only for tourists but also for local businesses that rely on tourism. Hotels, restaurants, and small shops in the area are expected to see more visitors and better income in the coming weeks.
