Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir has called on teachers, professors, and researchers to play an active role in promoting Pakistan’s message of unity, peace, and progress. He shared these views while speaking at the ‘Hilal Talks’ held at the Army Auditorium.

During his address to educationists and experts from across the country, the COAS said that critical thinking and innovation are essential for Pakistan’s development. He encouraged academic institutions to become places of research and reasoning, where students are trained to find smart solutions to real-life problems.

He said that universities should not only focus on teaching but also help build a strong and informed society through knowledge-based initiatives. According to him, academic spaces should help students become thoughtful and creative individuals who contribute to national progress.

Field Marshal Asim Munir also assured that the Pakistan Army fully supports the government’s efforts to improve higher education in the country. He emphasized the need to invest in innovative research and new ideas that can drive growth and solve challenges.

The ‘Hilal Talks’ featured discussions on global, regional, and national matters. Experts from various fields came together to share their insights and ideas for Pakistan’s future.

The message from the event was clear: universities and research centers must lead the way in shaping a better future. COAS encouraged everyone in the education sector to work together and help guide the country toward unity, progress, and long-term success.
