Pakistan is facing a strong heatwave, with temperatures reaching dangerous levels in many areas. According to recent reports, five Pakistani cities are currently among the 15 hottest places in the world.

Jacobabad is the hottest city right now, recording a temperature of 49°C. Other cities like Sibi, Jhelum, Bahawalnagar, and Dera Ismail Khan are also facing extreme heat, with temperatures going above 46°C.

This extreme weather is making daily life difficult for people across the country. Schools, workers, and those without access to cooling are especially affected. The intense heat can cause serious health problems such as heatstroke, dehydration, and fatigue.

Health experts and local authorities are advising people to take extra care during this time. They recommend staying indoors during the hottest hours of the day, especially between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. It’s important to drink plenty of water, wear light clothing, and avoid heavy outdoor activities.

People who work outside, such as laborers and street vendors, are at greater risk and should try to take frequent breaks in the shade. Parents are also advised to keep children indoors and make sure they stay cool and hydrated.

As this heatwave continues, citizens are urged to follow safety guidelines and listen to weather updates from trusted sources. By taking proper care, many heat-related illnesses can be prevented.

The government and health departments are monitoring the situation and may issue more advisories if the temperatures remain dangerously high.
