Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced that the families of police martyrs will receive Rs50,000 each as financial support. He made this announcement during a ceremony held in Peshawar on Monday.

Along with this, he shared that the government is working on a policy to provide residential plots to the families of those who laid down their lives in the line of duty.

The Chief Minister also gave special instructions to all public offices, saying that any family member of a martyr who visits a government office must be warmly received. “From the CM to the lowest-ranking official, everyone should stand up to welcome them as a sign of respect,” he said.

He also talked about improving the police force. According to him, police officers are now being trained with the help of modern technology. Their salaries have also been increased, and 2,400 new officers are being hired to strengthen the department.

The Chief Minister praised the role of the police in maintaining law and order, saying that their sacrifices will never be forgotten. He promised that the government will continue to take steps to support their families and improve the working conditions for officers still serving.

This move has been widely appreciated, as it highlights the government’s recognition of the police force’s bravery and commitment. It also aims to boost morale and show that the families of those who gave their lives for the country will not be left alone.
