PAF has delivered 48 tons of relief supplies from Karachi to Peshawar to support people affected by recent floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the aid was carried on a special Air Eagle B-737 aircraft. The supplies include dry food rations and other essential items needed by families who have lost access to basic necessities.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) will oversee the distribution of these goods to ensure they reach the people most in need. Officials said the focus is on providing quick and fair delivery so that no affected family is left behind.

To improve access to the hardest-hit areas, an air bridge has also been created to connect districts such as Buner and Shangla, which were severely damaged by the floods. This air link is expected to speed up relief work in regions where road access has been disrupted.

The PAF reaffirmed its commitment to standing with the people of Pakistan in times of natural disasters. Military officials stressed that the Air Force will continue to play its role in rescue and relief operations, ensuring that timely assistance reaches the flood victims.

Authorities added that more relief missions may follow if required, as the scale of damage is still being assessed. For now, the delivery of 48 tons of aid marks an important step in supporting flood-hit families and showing solidarity with communities struggling to recover from the disaster.
