Internet users across Pakistan faced major connectivity issues as services from PTCL and Ufone went down in several cities. The outage was reported on Sunday afternoon, leaving many people unable to access websites, apps, and online services.

According to initial reports, both home broadband and mobile internet users were affected. Cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and others experienced disruptions, with customers taking to social media to complain about slow or completely unavailable internet.

While PTCL and Ufone have not yet given a detailed explanation, technical teams are said to be working on identifying and fixing the issue. Such outages are usually linked to problems in the fiber network or international submarine cables, which connect Pakistan to the global internet.

The disruption created difficulties for businesses, students, and remote workers who rely heavily on stable internet. Many online transactions, meetings, and digital services were either delayed or disrupted.

Authorities have advised users to remain patient as restoration efforts continue. In past cases, full recovery of services has taken a few hours, depending on the scale of the fault.

Updates from PTCL and Ufone are expected soon, as customers await normal connectivity to return across the country.
