HOROSCOPES

A new moon on your birthday is a wonderful omen but as Saturn is strong as well you will need to take a disciplined approach to getting things done. The more chaos there is in the world around you the more focused your efforts must be.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

If you have to take on a heavy responsibility this weekend you must do so without complaint. A friend or work colleague has done favours for you in the past and now it is your turn to do something for them. Make a good job of it.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

Today’s new moon is an omen of future success but it won’t just happen as if by magic. Get your act together over the next 48 hours and decide what it is you want to accomplish, then go for it with total effort and commitment.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

You need to assert your authority on the home front this weekend but you also need to be aware that some of your loved ones get emotional more easily than you do. A bit of tough love may be necessary but don’t go too far.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

The pace of life is about to speed up considerably but that won’t worry you in the slightest. On the contrary, the faster you move over the next few days the more you will enjoy the ride. Secretly, you’re a bit of a thrill seeker.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

The best way to make money fast is to cash in on your artistic talents. What can you do over the weekend that will create something tasteful that you can sell for big bucks with no shortage of buyers? Focus on that and ignore everything else.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

A new moon in your birth sign makes this the ideal weekend to start a new project. You have thought about it long enough and no doubt made detailed plans as well – now you must move on to the final stage. In other words, get on with!

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Although you may feel a bit unsure of yourself at the moment you cannot allow that to stop you moving up in the world. The more you hold back now the more effort you will have to put in later to catch up on your rivals.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

A lot of things in your world will change over the next few weeks and there will be times when you feel a bit uncomfortable, but that’s good because it will keep you sharp. Aim high, move fast and never give less than 100 per cent.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

A new moon in the career area of your chart means it won’t be enough to stay out of sight and enjoy your anonymity. There is a world out there that needs your brand of genius, so take a deep breath and step into the spotlight.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Cosmic activity in your fellow Earth sign of Virgo means there is precious little you cannot achieve in the days and weeks to come. The more adventurous you are, both in your career and in your private life, the more successful you will be.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

If you need to get to grips with your money situation then now is the time. A new moon in the wealth area of your chart means that any decisions you take now will pay off later in the year, so make your plans and make them big.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Partnerships of all kinds are under excellent stars, so get out and about and let everyone know you are in the mood to make things happen. What you do on your own will be good. What you do with other people will be great.
