HOROSCOPES

If you know what you want and you know how to get it then why does your objective still seem so far away? Maybe it’s because you are wasting too much time and energy on trivial pursuits. Focus on what matters this year with laser-like intensity.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

Don’t push yourself too hard this weekend because the planets indicate that even if you get a lot done between now and Monday morning it will somehow or other get undone again later in the week. Why make an effort when it’s not worth it?

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

If someone who makes your heart beat faster every time you see them sends signals of a loving nature this weekend it may be the start of a special relationship. But make sure it’s what you really want before going all the way.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

You need to patch things up with a colleague who you fell out with a while ago. As you are so different personality-wise it’s unlikely you will ever be friends, but you can still form a perfectly good, and profitable, working relationship.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

You seem to be on everyone’s invitation list at the moment and that’s a good thing, but don’t go mad and burn yourself out at a succession of parties and social events. You are a modest individual by nature so keep a bit of yourself in reserve.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If you get the urge to take a chance of some kind over the next 48 hours then just go for it. You don’t have to ask anyone’s permission, and you certainly don’t need a friend to hold your hand, so give it your very best shot.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The sun in your sign does wonders for your confidence and it also makes you more aware of the wider and long-term trends that are taking place. Keep your eye on the big picture this weekend and be ready to act fast when the opportunity arises.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Although your heart may tell you one thing this weekend it is your head that you must follow. No matter how eager you may be to get out there and make a name for yourself the planets warn if you act too soon your name will be mud!

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You know that you are on the right track but how do you convince the doubters? A more relevant question might be, why would you want to convince them? While they are stumbling along the wrong track you will be speeding down the right one.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

If you make an effort to be helpful on the work front this weekend your efforts will be noted by people in positions of power. You do have a reputation for a streak of selfishness in your nature but you possess a generous side too.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You may be a bit suspicious about the power of positive thinking but if you hold a vision of the best possible outcome in your mind this weekend there is a very real chance it will come about. Try it. What have you got to lose?

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Banish all thoughts of failure from your mind and press ahead with your No. 1 objective. You may not be hugely ambitious but you do want to leave your mark on the world and what happens next will point you in the right direction.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You need to be forceful about what you believe in. You may be a nice guy by nature but now the universe wants you to fight for the right to have thoughts and feelings that the average person might not understand. Don’t be average – be you!
