The United States envoy to the United Nations has said that President Donald Trump personally assured the Prime Minister of Qatar that such incidents will not happen again.

The statement came during an emergency session of the UN Security Council, which was called to address the recent Israeli attacks.

While speaking at the meeting, the US envoy highlighted Washington’s commitment to supporting peace efforts in the region.

He stressed that the United States would not only continue its humanitarian assistance but would also remain actively involved in efforts to bring about a long-term solution to the conflict.

The envoy added that the US leadership is working closely with regional partners to ensure stability and prevent further escalation.

He further noted that the suffering of civilians in the affected areas must not be ignored. According to him, Washington is focusing on increasing humanitarian aid to provide immediate relief to those who have lost their homes, families, and livelihoods due to the violence. The envoy said that the protection of innocent lives remains a top priority for the US.

The assurance given by President Trump to Qatar reflects the importance of regional cooperation in managing crises. By engaging directly with leaders in the Middle East, the United States aims to strengthen dialogue and avoid future confrontations.

The emergency session also saw calls from other member states for restraint and a peaceful resolution. However, the US envoy reiterated that America would remain firm in its role as a partner for peace while supporting humanitarian needs on the ground.
