Actor shared he lost his eyesight due to an accident while filming Singham Again.

Bollywood action star Ajay Devgn has revealed that he temporarily lost his eyesight while shooting for a film.

Recently, Devgn appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss, where host Salman Khan disclosed that Devgn suffered an accident while shooting an action scene in movie Singham Again

Salman Khan explained that a mis-timed fight sequence led to a piece of wood hitting Ajay’s eye, resulting in him losing his sight for nearly two to three months.

He noted that such incidents are not uncommon during action film shoots, although today’s actors benefit from facilities that were unavailable in the past.

Devgn shared that he sustained severe injuries during the filming of Singham Again, requiring eye surgery and causing him significant pain for several days. However, he has since recovered and is set to showcase his talent in the upcoming film.

Singham Again is the third installment in the successful franchise. The first film, Singham, was released in 2011, starring Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj.

This was followed by Singham Returns in 2014, both of which performed well at the box office. The latest film is scheduled for release this Diwali.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again will see Ajay reprising his role as Bajirao Singham. Salman Khan will make a cameo appearance, joined by a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor.
