The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) has announced that Sunday, 15th September 2024, will be an official holiday for service centres handling the correction of violators’ statuses, in observance of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday.
This decision aligns with the Cabinet’s approved agenda for official holidays for the public and private sectors in 2024.

The Directorate added that all centres will resume regular operations after the holiday on Monday, 16th September 2024, from 08:00 to 20:00 throughout the week, except on Fridays, when working hours will be from 08:00 to 12:00, and from 16:00 to 20:00.
These hours apply to the violators’ status correction centre in Al Aweer and 86 Amer centres across various areas of Dubai, according to each centre’s schedule.
