Pakistani esports star Atif Butt has won the Emirates Showdown 2025 Tekken 8 title, beating seven-time EVO champion Arslan Ash 3-1 in a thrilling Grand Final. The event took place in Abu Dhabi over the weekend, drawing over 250 players from around the world.

Coming from the Winners Bracket, Atif showed amazing skill and focus. He did not lose a single set all tournament, proving his dominance. In the final, he used characters like Bryan, Anna, and Dragunov to outplay Arslan’s Nina, Anna, and Lidia.

This was an all-Pakistan showdown, with both players representing their nation proudly. Arslan, from Twisted Minds, fought hard from the Losers’ Bracket after earlier losses. But Atif, playing for Falcons Esports, stayed unbeatable.

Atif took home $1,889 in prize money and 300 valuable Tekken World Tour (TWT) points. Arslan earned $1,574 for second place. Other top finishers included LowHigh from South Korea in third and Tekken Master from Bahrain in fourth.

Fans celebrated online, calling it a “proud moment for Pakistan esports.” Videos of the Grand Final went viral, with crowds cheering wildly. This win boosts Atif’s ranking as the TWT 2025 season ends.
