Following their initial festivities in Jamnagar, the couple chose Europe for this grand affair, providing an opportunity for their global family members to join the celebration. In an exclusive interview with Vogue, Radhika shared intricate details of the four-day event, accompanied by stunning photographs.
Radhika expressed that the celebration was a retreat for those who have significantly contributed to their lives. The cruise festivities kicked off with a starry-night-themed event on the first day. Radhika wore an exquisite gown designed by Robert Wun, adorned with a love letter written by Anant when she was 22. This romantic evening was highlighted by a surprise concert from the Backstreet Boys, setting a magical tone for the days to come.
The second day saw the guests exploring the historic city of Rome. Later, a toga party was hosted back on the cruise deck. For this occasion, Radhika donned a custom toga by Grace Ling, a New York-based designer, featuring an aerospace aluminium breastplate. This unique outfit exemplified her modern yet classic style.
On the third day, the celebration moved to Cannes for a glamorous masquerade ball at the Chateau de la Croix des Gardes. Radhika stunned in a custom Versace dress, its blue hues reflecting the mesmerizing waters of the Côte d’Azur. The evening’s entertainment included a performance by pop sensation Katy Perry, adding a touch of star-studded glamour to the event.
The final night in Portofino was a picturesque conclusion to the festivities. The main square of this charming Italian village was transformed into an open-air market with vibrant food stalls, creating a festive atmosphere. Radhika wore a rare archival piece from Yves Saint Laurent for Dior, a dress steeped in fashion history. The night reached its zenith with a mesmerizing performance by legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.
