Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam has arrived in Pakistan ahead of an emergency meeting called by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The meeting comes after Pakistan announced it would boycott its T20 World Cup match against India, a decision that has created tension within international cricket. Other cricket board officials are also expected to join the discussions.

During his visit, Aminul Islam is scheduled to meet PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The two officials will talk about the current situation and try to understand Pakistan’s concerns. Pakistan has said it decided to skip the match because it is unhappy with the ICC’s handling of certain matters related to the tournament.

An ICC delegation is also expected to arrive later today to hold talks with PCB officials and other stakeholders. The goal of these meetings is to find a solution and prevent further complications ahead of the T20 World Cup.

The issue has attracted serious attention because an India–Pakistan match is one of the most important games in world cricket.

Such matches draw millions of viewers globally and generate huge income through television rights, sponsorships, and advertising. Any disruption could lead to major financial losses for the ICC and other cricket boards.

Cricket experts say that resolving the issue quickly is crucial for the smooth running of the tournament. They believe dialogue and cooperation between the ICC and member boards will be key to easing tensions.

The situation remains under close watch as officials continue talks. Fans around the world are waiting to see whether the two teams will eventually face each other, as the match is always one of the most anticipated events in international cricket.
