British-Pakistani Man Sells UK Properties to Build Schools in Azad Kashmir

Chaudhary Muhammad Aslam, a British-Pakistani from Mirpur, gave up everything he had in the UK to help children in Azad Kashmir. He sold all five of his properties in Britain his entire life savings to build 35 schools in areas still recovering from the 2005 earthquake.

Nearly two decades after the disaster, Aslam visited Azad Kashmir and was shocked to see children still studying outdoors without proper classrooms. This heartbreaking scene pushed him to take action.

Instead of just making a donation, Aslam made a life-changing decision. He partnered with Muslim Charity UK and invested all his money to help rebuild education in some of the most remote and neglected villages. His goal was simple: to give every child a safe, clean, and proper place to study.

Thanks to his efforts, many children now have proper school buildings, benches, and shelter from the weather. These schools are more than just structures they represent hope, opportunity, and a better future for the younger generation.

Aslam’s story is one of selflessness and commitment. He didn’t build these schools for fame or reward. He simply wanted to give back to the land he came from and support those who need it most.

His work is now inspiring others around the world, showing that one person can make a huge difference. Through his sacrifice, hundreds of children in Azad Kashmir can now dream bigger and aim higher.
