Arshad Khan, popularly known as the “Chaiwala” from Islamabad, is now facing trouble over his Pakistani citizenship. His national identity card and passport have been blocked because he is unable to provide proof of citizenship.

Arshad became famous at the age of 17 after a photo of him serving tea went viral on social media. His good looks and humble background made him an internet sensation, and he even started a café business later on. However, despite his fame, he is now dealing with serious legal problems.

Officials from NADRA and the passport office have told Arshad that he must provide documents showing his family lived in Pakistan before 1978. This rule is part of the process used to confirm a person’s citizenship. Since he couldn’t provide such documents, his ID and passport were blocked.

To fight this issue, Arshad has taken the matter to court. He has filed a case in the Lahore High Court, and the hearing is scheduled for April 17. He hopes that the court will understand his situation and help restore his identity documents.

Arshad’s case has gained attention because it shows how even well-known people can face difficulties with legal documents. His story is not just about fame and success, but also about the struggles that many ordinary people go through when dealing with government procedures.

For now, Arshad Khan’s future remains uncertain until the court makes a decision. While he waits for the hearing, his story serves as a reminder that proper documentation is very important, and that many citizens may face similar challenges without it.
