Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, took quick action to address a critical shortage of medicines in Kurram district caused by blocked roads. Using his official helicopter, he ensured the delivery of essential and life-saving medications to the affected area.

Provincial government officials confirmed that the helicopter delivered two batches of medicines, including supplies worth Rs6.3 million. These deliveries were crucial to meeting the medical needs of the district, which had been cut off due to the road blockages.

The chief minister directed that helicopter deliveries should continue daily until the roads are reopened. To manage this effort, he assigned the health adviser and secretary to oversee the process and ensure everything runs smoothly.

In a statement, CM Gandapur emphasized the importance of providing life-saving medicines to those in need.

He assured the public that the provincial government is fully committed to using all available resources to deliver timely medical assistance to Kurram. This proactive approach highlights the government’s dedication to addressing emergencies and safeguarding public health.

This initiative has been widely appreciated, as it showcases the government’s ability to adapt and respond quickly to crises, ensuring the well-being of its citizens.
