During the 2024 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup final, the audience was treated to a special performance by stand-up comedian Syed Shafaat Ali, who entertained everyone with his hilarious impersonation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

In his speech at the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took the opportunity to commend the Pakistan hockey team for their outstanding performance on the international stage.

He expressed his immense pride in the team’s efforts, highlighting how their hard work and dedication have played a pivotal role in reviving Pakistan hockey after a period of decline.

Injecting a touch of humor into his address, PM Shehbaz fondly recalled a previous encounter where he had playfully ‘injured’ by the comedian. This light-hearted moment not only brought smiles to the faces of the audience but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and laughter throughout the event.
