Daraz has announced a new support programme for traders who were affected by the devastating fire at Gul Plaza in Karachi. To help these businesses recover, the e-commerce platform will create a dedicated section on its website and mobile app where impacted sellers can list and sell their products to customers across Pakistan.

As part of the Daraz Cares programme, affected traders will receive step-by-step onboarding support to help them start selling online. Daraz will also provide storage facilities, discounted delivery services, and marketing support to help sellers reach more buyers. In addition, a three-month incubation programme will be offered to guide traders in rebuilding and strengthening their businesses.

This initiative is designed to help traders recover in time for the busy Ramazan and Eid shopping season. By giving sellers access to a nationwide online marketplace, Daraz aims to help them restart operations, reconnect with customers, and rebuild their livelihoods after the tragic incident.
