Dense fog continues to disrupt air and road traffic in Punjab, Pakistan’s most populated region, causing several major routes to close and flight cancellations.

Visibility at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Airport has been severely impacted, with six flights, including those to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, delayed. Sialkot Airport was also closed due to extremely low visibility.

Motorways have been shut, including M-3 from Nankana to Samundri, M-4 from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad, and M-2 from Islamabad Toll Plaza to Thokar Niaz Beg. On N-5 National Highway, visibility has been reduced to as low as 20 meters in certain areas.

Authorities are urging motorists to avoid non-essential travel, use fog lights, reduce speed, and stay vigilant, with the emergency helpline available for any inci_dents.
