Digitt+, a leading Electronic Money Institute, has partnered with Barq Holdings under the leadership of Mr.Ahmed Alenazi (Group CEO of Barq Holdings), a prominent financial player in Saudia Arabia to embed financial payments into their app via open APIs. Under this collaboration, Barq Fintech Pvt Limited (formerly MYTM Pvt Ltd Pakistan) will leverage Digitt+’s open API-driven infrastructure to offer seamless financial transactions to Barq’s users in Pakistan.

The agreement was signed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at the Leap Conference by Ahmed Saleemi, CEO of Digitt+ and Mansoor Chaudhry, CEO of Barq PK. The signing ceremony was attended by key senior team members from both organizations, including Hamza Rizwan (Head of Business & Strategy, Digitt+), Hassan Farooq (Head of Risk & Compliance, Digitt+), Hassan Wasti (Head of Cards, Digitt+), Assad Ullah Bashir (Head of Merchants & Corporate Solutions, Digitt+), and Barq executives such as Muhammad Alsabea (Vice Chairman, Barq PK), Zain Farooq (MD, Barq PK), Jawad Mahmood (CIBO, Barq PK), Kanwal Cheema (Board Member, Barq PK), Usman Khan (Head of Products, Barq PK) and Moaz Mirza.

Through Digitt+’s Wallet-as-a-Service model, Barq PK’s customers will gain access to a fully integrated mobile wallet and real-time payment ecosystem, including instant fund transfers, digital payments, mobile top-ups, and card issuance. This partnership aims to simplify financial transactions and promote financial inclusion by integrating payment services directly within the Barq PK platform.

Beyond domestic payments, the collaboration will enable remittances for overseas Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia, providing an efficient and seamless way for families to receive funds in Pakistan.

Digitt+’s Third Successful WaaS Deployment

This marks Digitt+’s third successful deployment of its Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) solution, reinforcing its track record of powering fintech innovation in Pakistan. Unlike full Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), which includes lending and deposit features, WaaS focuses solely on digital payments and wallets, enabling businesses to launch financial products without the complexities of banking infrastructure. Digitt+’s previous WaaS deployments have delivered strong results, helping businesses scale rapidly in the digital payments space.

Bringing Barq to Pakistan aligns with our vision to simplify digital financial inclusion for everyone, everywhere, said Ahmed Alenazi, CEO of Barq Group. “Our success in KSA has equipped us with the insights and tools to provide unmatched service to the Pakistani market. We are excited to offer a platform that not only meets our customers’ financial needs but also contributes to the country’s economic growth.”

Ahmed Saleemi, CEO of Digitt+, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating:

“This collaboration represents another milestone for Digitt+ as we expand embedded payments in Pakistan. Our Wallet-as-a-Service model and Open API framework allow businesses like Barq PK to integrate secure, banking-grade payment solutions without the complexities of infrastructure development. We are committed to making financial services simpler, more accessible, and deeply embedded into users’ everyday experiences.”

Mansoor Chaudhry, CEO of Barq Pakistan, emphasized Barq’s commitment to innovation and financial accessibility: “Barq’s success in Saudi Arabia has been built on delivering innovative financial solutions, and we are excited to replicate that success in Pakistan. With Digitt+’s technology, we can provide seamless financial services, improving convenience and inclusion for our users.”

Digitt+ continues to lead Pakistan’s embedded payments revolution, with 100+ Open APIs powering fintechs, startups, and enterprises across the country. By providing businesses with scalable, ready-to-launch financial solutions, Digitt+ is actively shaping the future of digital payments and financial inclusion.
