The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a new recruitment initiative aimed at strengthening its operational workforce across the Peshawar region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The drive focuses on management and support roles to enhance the delivery of citizen registration services at local centres.
Key Positions Open for Applications
NADRA is inviting applications for several positions, including Deputy Assistant Director (Office‑in‑Charge), Junior Executive (Data Entry Operator), and Naib Qasid (support staff). These tehsil-based roles require candidates to manage and oversee registration activities at the grassroots level. The application deadline is 19 April 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
For Deputy Assistant Director, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with preference given to those with administrative experience. Junior Executive applicants should have at least intermediate (12 years of education) with computer literacy and basic data entry skills. Naib Qasid candidates must have primary education and a minimum of one year of relevant work experience. All applicants must be Pakistani citizens with a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply online through NADRA’s official recruitment portal. Applicants are required to submit a detailed application form along with scanned copies of educational certificates, CNIC, and experience documents. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for written tests and interviews as part of the selection process.
Strengthening Service Delivery
The recruitment drive reflects NADRA’s ongoing efforts to maintain efficient service delivery as demand for identity registration and related services continues to grow. The authority has also implemented reforms to expand access and streamline processes, including updated procedures for B-Form issuance and provisions for citizens without formal birth certificates.
Impact and Strategic Importance
Experts note that such initiatives are part of a broader strategy to reinforce NADRA’s capacity, ensuring operational effectiveness and supporting national goals of digital identity security and inclusive registration coverage. With registration services directly tied to access to social services, employment, and legal documentation, this workforce expansion is expected to have a significant impact across Pakistan.
