Ducky Bhai says he doesn’t know Bushra Ansari

He claimed that many TV artists lack creative control and are overly dependent on directors.

Pakistani YouTuber Saad Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, stirred online debate after saying he does not know veteran actor Bushra Ansari and describing television actors as “insecure.”

Speaking in a special Eid podcast, Ducky Bhai said he only recognises Ansari by face and is unaware of her work.

He claimed that many TV artists lack creative control and are overly dependent on directors. “They don’t put in their own effort. They just dance to the director’s tune,” he said.

He also stated that TV actors struggle to get roles and suffer from low self-worth, calling the TV era “over.”

“I don’t understand who still watches dramas,” he added, questioning the relevance of mainstream television.

Discussing his own journey, Rehman shared that he launched his YouTube channel randomly and didn’t earn a rupee until hitting five million subscribers.

He said his first YouTube income was only $100 and he still uses the same duck image he randomly picked from Google.

The content creator also talked about personal traditions, saying he does not get excited about birthdays or Eid and sees them as regular days.

Rehman added that last year he gave generous Eidi to his mother and wife, but this year they insisted he distribute it among his fans instead.

He denied having any disputes with fellow YouTuber Rajab Butt, calling rumours of rivalry baseless.
