In a recent announcement, Emirates revealed the decision to extend the cancellation of flights between Dubai and Beirut until October 8, 2024.
It has been announced that passengers travelling on transit flights in Dubai and destined for Beirut will no longer be permitted to fly from their point of departure.
Travellers who are affected by this decision are advised to contact their booking agents in order to ascertain alternative travel options. Alternatively, travellers who have booked with Emirates directly are invited to contact the airline.
The airline recommended that travellers verify the accuracy of their contact details by accessing the booking management page, where they can also opt to receive updates.
The airline has stated that it is engaged in continuous and close monitoring of the situation in Lebanon and will maintain close communication with the relevant authorities regarding developments.
