DNTV, Staff Reporter
Emirates has announced the cancellation of all flights to and from Iraq (Basra and Baghdad), Iran (Tehran) and Jordan (Amman) on Oct.4 and 5 due to the prevailing state of regional unrest.
A spokesperson has stated that customers travelling through Dubai with destinations in Iraq, Iran and Jordan will not be permitted to travel from their point of origin until further notice.
Those affected are advised to contact their travel agent for alternative travel options or to contact Emirates directly if they have booked with the airline.
It is recommended that customers verify the accuracy of their contact details by accessing their booking management portal to receive updates, he added.
“We maintain close observation of the regional situation and are in communication with the pertinent authorities regarding developments,” the spokesperson added.
