An air ambulance was dispatched to facilitate the airlifting of a patient who had been involved in a traffic accident in Oman. In collaboration with the National Guard – National Search and Rescue Centre, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs facilitated the fourth airlifting mission for an injured Emirati woman who had been involved in a significant traffic accident with her family in the Sultanate of Oman, resulting in severe injuries.
Subsequent to her treatment at Nizwa Hospital, the patient was transferred to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in the UAE via search and rescue aircraft, where she was able to complete her treatment with her family.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its gratitude to the Omani authorities for their invaluable assistance in facilitating the success of the airlifting mission, particularly in providing support to the UAE Embassy in Muscat.
