Entry Free Now Mandatory for Popular Tourist Spots in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially introduced an entry fee system for tourists visiting well-known spots like Naran, Kaghan, and Lake Saif-ul-Malook. This means that from now on, anyone planning to travel to these popular tourist destinations will have to pay a fee before they are allowed to enter the area.

According to official documents, no tourist will be permitted to go into the Kaghan Valley unless they pay the required fee. A special collection point will be set up at a place called Husamabad to collect these charges from visitors.

The fee structure will vary depending on the type of vehicle a person is using. People traveling in large vehicles such as buses will be charged PKR 200 per person. Those in smaller vehicles like cars will need to pay PKR 100 per person. Motorcyclists will be charged a lower fee of PKR 20 per person.

However, this fee will not apply to people who live in the local area. Residents of the region will be allowed to enter without paying anything. The purpose of this new system is likely to help maintain the natural beauty of the area, manage tourist flow, and generate funds for the upkeep of these scenic locations.
