FBR Introduces ‘ePayment 2.0’ to Simplify Tax Payment Processes

FBR has introduced ePayment 2.0, a new and improved system designed to make tax payments easier for people across Pakistan. This upgraded platform allows taxpayers to pay their taxes directly from their bank accounts using internet banking, ATMs, or mobile banking. With this system, there’s no need to visit bank branches anymore.

The ePayment 2.0 system supports various types of taxes, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Federal Excise Duty. It is also fully integrated with FBR’s IRIS 2.0 system for better efficiency. When making a payment, the platform generates a unique Payment Slip ID (PSID), making the process quick and hassle-free. Taxpayers receive payment receipts instantly through email and SMS for confirmation.

To improve transparency and payment tracking, the system includes a feature that allows users to search for their PSID. This makes it easier to keep track of payments and ensures accuracy.

The launch of ePayment 2.0 is part of FBR’s broader plan to modernize Pakistan’s tax collection system and make it more user-friendly. By offering a secure and convenient way to pay taxes, this platform encourages more people to comply with tax requirements, ultimately supporting the country’s economic growth.

With ePayment 2.0, FBR aims to bring efficiency and transparency to the tax payment process, making it easier for everyone to fulfill their responsibilities.
