Federal Board of Revenue FBR Announces Multiple Job Opportunities in Pakistan

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), under the Government of Pakistan, has announced job opportunities for individual consultants as part of the Pakistan Raises Revenue Program (PRRP). The program is financed by the World Bank, and the selected candidates will contribute to improving the efficiency of procurement and contract management in FBR.

Available Positions

FBR is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions:

1. Procurement & Contract Management Specialist
2. Procurement Specialist

Both roles require expertise in procurement, contract management, and digital ICT procurement.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in the following fields:

• Procurement & Supply Chain Management
• Business Management
• Project Management
• Engineering
• Finance
• Social Sciences

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in procurement and contract management.
• At least 3 years of experience in digital ICT procurement, including Data Centre procurements and IT network solutions (hardware and software).
• At least 3 years of experience in World Bank procurement and contracts management for large-scale projects.
• Practical experience in post-contract activities, including dispute resolution.
• Proficiency in using the World Bank Systematic Tracking Exchanges Procurement (STEP) system or other ERP tools.
• Certification in Procurement/Contract Management is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Experience with e-procurement applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
