Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir said that the security and stability of the United Arab Emirates are closely connected to Pakistan’s own security, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During a meeting with Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in security, investment, and regional stability. General Munir also appreciated the UAE’s long-standing economic support for Pakistan and acknowledged its positive role in strengthening bilateral relations.

In a separate meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed the strong and historic ties between the two countries, including their recent engagement at Qasr Al Shati Palace.
