The civil defence teams in Sharjah were able to successfully control a fire that broke out in spare parts warehouses in Industrial Area 5, with no injuries reported.
The Operations Room at the Sharjah Police General Command received a report at 6:20 pm about a fire had broken out in Industrial Area 5. In response, the civil defence vehicles, police patrols and the National Ambulance were dispatched to the site.
Upon arrival, it was found out that the fire had spread to three spare parts warehouses, resulting in formation of a dark cloud of smoke observed by residents of the emirate.
