From Factory Worker in 2020 to Selling His Company for $900 Million – World’s Biggest Tiktoker, khaby Lame

Khaby started out as a factory worker in Italy. When COVID-19 hit in 2020, he lost his job and suddenly found himself unemployed, with no income, no fame, and no clear direction. Like many others during that time, he turned to social media. He joined TikTok with very limited resources and no special plan for becoming famous.

While many creators were posting complicated and unnecessary life hacks, Khaby took a completely different approach. He stayed silent in his videos and reacted to these overly complex tricks using simple logic, facial expressions, and a signature shrug. He didn’t speak at all, yet his message was clear. His quiet humor felt honest and relatable, and people around the world connected with it instantly.

His videos began to spread rapidly. Millions of people started laughing, sharing, and following him. In a short time, his audience grew into hundreds of millions. Without saying a single word, Khaby became one of the most recognizable faces on the internet and a global symbol of simple common sense.

Instead of rushing into random brand deals, Khaby focused on building something long-term. Through his company, Step Distinctive Limited, he created a strong business that combines online shopping, TikTok Shop, and worldwide product delivery. This helped him move from being just a content creator to becoming a business owner with real control and ownership.

In January 2026, Rich Sparkle Holdings bought a majority stake in his business at a valuation of around 900 to 975 million dollars. Even after the deal, Khaby kept 49 percent ownership and retained full creative control, allowing him to stay true to his style and vision.

Khaby Lame’s journey shows that you don’t need loud words or complicated ideas to succeed. Sometimes, simplicity, consistency, and a clear vision are enough to build a global empire.
