Gold price drops by Rs24,300 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Thursday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs499,462 after a decline of Rs24,300 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs428,208 after it fell by Rs20,833, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Wednesday, gold price per tola remained stable at Rs523,762 during the day.

The international rate of gold declined by $243 to reach $4,767 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs760 to reach Rs7,734 per tola.
