Gold price drops by Rs3,700 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Thursday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs482,462 after a decline of Rs3,700 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs413,633 after it fell by Rs3,172, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Wednesday, gold price per tola reached Rs486,162 after a gain of Rs4,300.

The international rate of gold declined by $37 to reach $4,601 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs150 to reach Rs9,425 per tola.
