Gold price per tola remains stable in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan remained stable on Thursday, with the per tola rate standing at Rs438,862.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at the same rate of Rs376,253, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Wednesday, gold price per tola reached Rs438,862 after an increase of Rs2,300 during the day.

The international rate of gold remained unchanged at $4,165 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

However, silver price increased by Rs160 to reach Rs5,642 per tola.

Moreover, international gold was broadly steady on Thursday after hitting a near two-week high in the previous session, as market participants weighed the possibility of a December U.S. interest rate cut amid conflicting signals from the Federal Reserve.

Spot gold was down 0.2% at $4,154.09 per ounce, as of 0200 GMT. U.S. gold futures for December delivery fell 0.3% to $4,151.20 per ounce.
