On Thursday, gold price per tola reached Rs540,562 after a decline of Rs700 during the day.
The international rate of gold also remained unchanged at $5,178 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs270 to reach Rs9,474 per tola.
