Gold snaps 3-session losing streak, gains Rs24,000 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Tuesday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs514,362 after a gain of Rs24,000 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs440,982 after it increased by Rs20,576, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, gold price per tola reached Rs490,362 after a decline of Rs21,500 during the day.

The yellow metal lost Rs85,500 per tola in the previous three sessions.

The international rate of gold was up by $240 on Tuesday to reach $4,916 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs741 to reach Rs9,146 per tola.
