Students from Harvard Business School recently had the privilege of meeting with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir. This meeting was a rare and valuable opportunity for the students to connect with one of the most prominent military leaders in Pakistan.

During their time with General Munir, the students were able to learn about the strategic challenges he faces and the leadership skills required to navigate them.

This interaction highlighted the significance of global and cross-cultural perspectives in leadership and management education. By hearing directly from a leader with such a distinguished military background, the students gained unique insights that go beyond traditional classroom learning.

The experience emphasized the importance of understanding different leadership styles and the impact of military leadership in the broader context of global security and strategy.

This meeting not only enriched the students’ educational experience but also provided them with practical lessons that will serve them well in their future careers.
