England’s wicketkeeper and batter, Sam Billings, gave a warm welcome to Pakistan’s cricket star Babar Azam as he joins the Big Bash League (BBL) for the first time. Babar has signed with the Sydney Sixers for the 15th season of the league, and his arrival has already made waves in the cricket world.

Billings, who plays for the same team, referred to Babar as “King Babar Azam,” showing deep respect for the Pakistani batter’s talent and achievements. He said Babar is known for his consistent performances and that he’s glad to have him as a teammate rather than play against him.

He also took a moment to appreciate the overall skill and talent of Pakistan’s cricket players, calling them exciting and full of potential.

Babar Azam, on the other hand, shared his excitement about joining the BBL and representing the Sydney Sixers. He said playing alongside well-known international cricketers like Steve Smith and Josh Hazlewood will be a great experience. For Babar, this debut in the Australian T20 league is a proud moment in his career.

Fans of Babar Azam and Pakistan cricket are thrilled to see him perform on this new platform, and there’s a lot of hope that he will shine just as he has in other leagues and international matches.

With strong players like Babar joining the league, the upcoming BBL season is expected to be even more competitive and entertaining.
