Here’s How Many Holidays Pakistanis Expected to Get for this Eid-ul-Fitr 2025

With Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 approaching, many Pakistanis are eagerly waiting to find out how many holidays they will get this year. The final schedule depends on the official moon sighting and the government’s decision on public holidays.

Experts predict that the Shawwal moon will be visible on March 30, which could make March 31 the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr in Pakistan. If the government grants extended holidays, Pakistanis could enjoy up to nine days off, giving families more time to celebrate and travel.

Typically, Eid holidays last for three days, but if additional leave is approved, the break could extend further. This would allow more people to visit their hometowns, plan trips, and fully enjoy the festive season.

The government is expected to announce the official holiday schedule soon. Until then, citizens remain hopeful for a longer Eid break to make the most of the celebrations.
