Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi has shared exciting news about Pakistan Railways. He announced that travel time between Rawalpindi and Lahore will soon be cut down to just two hours. This improvement will be possible as new trains on this route will run at speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour.

In another big step, the minister shared plans for launching an international freight train. This train will start from Lahore and travel to the Iranian border. Abbasi explained that the new freight routes will make it easier for Pakistan to export goods and build stronger ties with nearby regions. This will also create new business and job opportunities.
