Gold prices have reached new historic highs across the globe, driven by growing economic uncertainty and strong investor demand.

In international markets, the price of gold surged by $54, hitting an unprecedented $3,940 per ounce. The rally quickly echoed in Pakistan, where local prices soared to a record Rs415,278 per tola. Meanwhile, the rate for 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs4,629, reaching Rs356,033.

According to Experts, the sharp rise reflects global concerns over inflation, market volatility, and slowing economic growth. Precious metals like silver, platinum, and palladium also saw gains as investors turned to safe-haven assets.

With gold prices continuing their upward trend, analysts predict further movement in the coming weeks, depending on global market stability and central bank policies.
