The Pakistani actress shared that she was scheduled to travel on the flight from Lahore to Karachi

Pakistani actress Nazish Jahangir has revealed that she was meant to be on the ill-fated Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight that crashed in Karachi’s Model Colony in 2020, but missed the flight at the last moment.

In a recent podcast, Nazish explained that she was scheduled to travel on the flight from Lahore to Karachi, which tragically crashed during its landing. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, she failed to board the plane, and her journey was cancelled.

“I often miss flights, and on one occasion, I missed six flights in a single day,” she said, reflecting on her history of delayed travels. She added that she missed this particular flight after the COVID-19 lockdown, and it was the same flight that tragically met with an accident.

When she learned of the crash, she immediately expressed gratitude for missing the flight. “I had to go to Karachi after being quarantined for 60 days, but I wasn’t able to,” she said. “When I heard about the crash, I immediately thanked God for not being on that flight.”

The PIA flight, which crashed in Karachi’s Model Colony in May 2020, resulted in the deaths of nearly 100 people, and caused significant damage to nearby homes. Some local residents also lost their lives in the aftermath of the disaster.
