India Closes Attari Border, Citizens Coming to Pakistan Stranded at Border

India temporarily closed the Attari border, leaving many people traveling to Pakistan stuck at the crossing. Long lines of cars and buses were seen, and travelers faced a lot of trouble trying to get back to Pakistan.

Among those affected was a woman who held an Indian passport. She said she was married in Pakistan and was returning home after visiting India. Unfortunately, because of the border closure, she was stopped and could not cross over to Pakistan. She shared her worry and sadness, saying she just wanted to return to her family.

Another woman from India also faced difficulties. She had traveled to Karachi after 40 years to meet her brother. She had been looking forward to spending more time with him. However, because of the situation at the border, she had to leave much earlier than she had planned. She expressed deep sadness over having to cut her trip short, saying it was hard to say goodbye so soon after finally meeting her brother again.

The sudden closure created a lot of problems for families and individuals who were traveling for personal reasons like marriage, family visits, or emergencies. Many people were left confused and worried about when they would be allowed to cross. The long wait and uncertainty made the situation even harder for those who had urgent reasons to travel.

Officials have not shared a clear timeline for when the border will reopen. Travelers are now waiting for updates, hoping that the situation will be resolved quickly so they can continue their journeys without more trouble.

The incident highlights how quickly travel plans can be affected by political or security decisions, leaving ordinary people to bear the emotional and physical stress of sudden disruptions.
