India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in today’s Asia Cup 2025 match at the Dubai International Stadium, in a game that lived up to its hype.

Pakistan were bowled out for 127/9, with India comfortably chasing down the target. Key players like Kuldeep Yadav shared the bowling honours and led India’s charge.

Suryakumar Yadav, the captain, remained not out on 47, guiding the final runs. Tilak Varma and Abhishek Sharma also made useful contributions with the bat, supporting a confident pursuit.

Pakistan showed promise early but were unable to build strong partnerships, as India’s spin attack—including Kuldeep kept them under constant pressure.

The disciplined bowling and sharp fielding from India turned the match in their favour. The Indian batters took control in the middle overs, pacing the chase with both aggression and composure.

Thousands of fans inside the stadium cheered as India completed the chase with several overs to spare. With this victory, India strengthens its spot in the Super 4s of the tournament.

Pakistan, meanwhile, will need to bounce back in upcoming matches. India’s all-around performance today underlines their form in the tournament and sends a clear message to the rest of the competing teams.
