The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi announced that Indian passport services will be down for 2 days starting Oct. 4, 2024 to Oct.6.
According to the statement, “Passport Seva Portal will be down for technical maintenance from 4 October 2024, Friday 20:00 hrs IST (18:30 hrs UAE time) to 6 October 2024, Sunday 18:00 hrs IST (16:30 hrs UAE time).
“Passport and related services (including TATKAAL and PCC) will not be rendered in the centers of M/s BLS International on 5 October 2024.”
The embassy said, “Applicants who have already fixed their appointments for 5 October 2024, can submit their applications for passport related services at the BLS centres on 13 October 2024. The booked appointment times and centre will remain the same. In case the revised appointment date is not convenient to the applicant, he/she can go to any BLS centre after 13 October and submit the passport application as a walk-in. No separate appointment will be required for this purpose. It may be noted that applicants may have to wait longer, if they wish to submit the application as a walk-in, after 13 October.
“Other Consular and Visa Services will continue to be rendered at all centers of M/s BLS International across UAE on 5 October 2024.”
