Indian passport services to remain suspended until Sept.2

Indian passport services will be down for five days starting Aug.29, 2024, Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced in a statement.
According to the statement, Passport Seva Portal will be down for technical maintenance from Aug.29, Thursday 20:00 IST (18:30 UAE time) to Sept.2, 2024, Monday 06:00 IST (04:30 UAE time).
“Passport and related services (including TATKAAL and PCC) will not be rendered in the Embassy as well as at all the centers of M/s BLS International from Aug.29. 2024, from 17:00 UAE time to Sept.1, 2024, Sunday,” statement said further.
“BLS will give revised appointment date to applicants who have already fixed their appointments for Aug.30 and Aug.31, 2024, in the next week from Sept.2 to Sept.8, 2024.
“In case the revised appointment date is not convenient to the applicant, he/she can go to any BLS centre after the revised appointment date and submit the passport application as walk-in. No Separate appointment will be required for this purpose.
“However, Consular and Visa Services will continue to be rendered at all centers of M/s BLS International across UAE on Aug.30 and Aug.31,” the statement from Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi said.
